E-Commerce and Multichannel Fulfillment Services
KGH 3P Logistics provides e-commerce order fulfillment for businesses selling through brand-owned websites, online marketplaces, and multiple digital sales channels. Our operation is designed to efficiently process single-unit and small multi-item consumer orders while maintaining shared inventory across each connected sales channel.
E-Commerce Fulfillment Overview
KGH 3P Logistics provides the warehousing and order-processing capabilities required to support direct-to-consumer e-commerce operations. Our team processes single-unit and small multi-item orders from brand-owned websites, online marketplaces, and other digital sales channels.
Approximately 50% of KGH's current shipment volume is delivered directly to consumers. This experience allows our operation to efficiently manage the picking, verification, packing, labeling, and shipment requirements associated with high-frequency, small-parcel orders.
Each product is scanned by its UPC at the time of picking and verified against the customer's order. This item-level verification helps prevent incorrect products from advancing to packing and supports accurate order processing.
KGH's standard service-level commitments are structured for e-commerce fulfillment, where order accuracy and processing speed directly affect the customer experience. Our operating procedures combine UPC-based pick verification with prompt order processing to help ensure customers receive the correct products within the expected delivery timeframe.
Inventory can be shared across multiple sales channels, allowing orders from different websites and marketplaces to be fulfilled from the same available stock. This provides centralized inventory control without requiring separate inventory allocations or fulfillment operations for each sales channel.
Consumer orders can be shipped through USPS, FedEx, and UPS. KGH maintains carrier agreements structured around e-commerce and small-parcel shipping, including negotiated discounts on key surcharges. These terms may provide additional cost advantages for products with unique dimensions, nonstandard packaging, or oversized characteristics.
Our Louisville, Kentucky, fulfillment location is well positioned in relation to major U.S. population centers. This central location can reduce the number of shipping zones traveled, helping clients control parcel-shipping costs while providing competitive delivery times for consumer orders.
KGH is best suited for fulfillment programs processing approximately 100 to 15,000 orders per month. Our operating standard is "Order Today, Ship Tomorrow," with the majority of standard orders receiving same-day processing.

What the Service Includes
Inventory Receiving
KGH receives inventory through small-parcel deliveries, less-than-truckload shipments, and full container loads arriving directly from import. Products are verified against the available receiving documentation, recorded within the inventory system, and directed to storage or product preparation.
Inventory Management
KGH maintains inventory records to support stock visibility, order allocation, replenishment, and fulfillment. Inventory can be shared across brand-owned websites, online marketplaces, and other approved sales channels.
Packing and Labeling
Verified products are packed according to the established requirements for the product, sales channel, and shipment method. Shipping labels, packing documentation, customer inserts, and other approved materials are applied before the order is released for shipment.
Parcel Shipment Processing
Consumer orders can be shipped through USPS, FedEx, and UPS using the carrier and service level established for the client's fulfillment program. KGH's carrier agreements are structured around e-commerce and small-parcel shipments and include negotiated discounts on key surcharges that may benefit unique, nonstandard, or oversized products.
Shipment confirmation and tracking information are transmitted through the established client process after the order is released to the carrier.
Temperature-Controlled Storage
Products are stored within our temperature-controlled warehouse using floor or rack storage based on inventory volume, product dimensions, turnover, and handling requirements. Available inventory is maintained within one centralized operation for fulfillment across connected sales channels.
Order Processing and UPC Verification
Orders are received through the established order-management process and released for fulfillment. Each product is scanned by its UPC during picking and verified against the customer's order before advancing to packing. This item-level verification supports accurate order processing and helps prevent incorrect products from being shipped.
Kitting and Product Preparation
Orders can include preassembled kits, multipacks, promotional inserts, relabeling, repacking, or other defined product-preparation requirements. These services can be completed before inventory is made available or as part of the order-fulfillment process.
Returns Processing
Returned commercial inventory is received, verified, inspected, and documented according to the client's established procedures. Products may be restocked, repackaged, held for review, or routed to another authorized disposition based on their condition and client instructions.
